Peugeot 508 RXH diesel-electric HYbrid4

The Peugeot 508 RXH will have 200 bhp, four-wheel drive, 100% electric mode, 67.2 mpg and 109 g/km of CO2 – and it will be on sale within a year.
Equipped with a 2.0-litre HDi HYbrid4 drivetrain, which will first appear in the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4, the diesel-electric drive unit in the 508 RXH will have a maximum power of 200 bhp, four-wheel drive and maximum torque of 450 Nm.
It offers a 100% zero emission electric mode, ideal for driving in town and for reducing consumption in the combined cycle to 67.2 mpg, with emissions of 109 g/km of CO2.
The 3008 HYbrid4 will launch later this year, after which the HYbrid4 technology will be extended to other models, including the 508 RXH, which will be unveiled as a world premiere at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in September 2011. It will be on sale in spring 2012.
