Diesel MPVs or 7 Seaters
Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 74.3 mpg
The new Citroen C4 Grand Picasso is lighter, more spacious, has more individual styling, and, with 74.3mpg, is more efficient.
The Grand Scenic is a good-looking MPV which is ideal if you occasionally need to carry 7 people or you have lots of kids. The fuel economy on offer is outstanding, helped by standard stop/start.
The Touran is one of the most compact seven seat MPVs. Its secret to the excellent fuel economy is a 1.6 litre common rail diesel engine which produces 104 bhp at 4,400 rpm and 185 lb.ft of torque between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm.
Petrol 7 Seater MPVs

If you want an occasional 7 seat MPV with mega fuel economy and a sensibly sized boot, the Prius+ fits the bill.

Renault Grand Scenic 1.2 TCe 115 Stop and Start 47.1 mpg
The Grand Scenic is a small MPV at just 4.56 metres in length so in common with the rest of the class whilst it does have 7 seats the two in the last row are best kept for occasional use and preferably for kids.
