Green Motion to hire electric Nissan LEAF

Green Motion car rental will be the first car and van hire company in the UK to offer the all-electric Nissan LEAF for hire.
Green Motion will be introducing the vehicle onto its fleet during the first quarter of 2011, mainly at its city locations, including London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. Green Motion will also be introducing charging points at these locations.
The company is expecting that the car will be extremely popular in London, where it will be exempt from the Congestion Charge.
Both business customers and individuals will be able to hire the world's first mass-produced all-electric hatchback.
Richard Lowden, founder and Managing Director of Green Motion, said “The car speaks for itself - it truly delivers zero emissions driving with no compromise.”
