Citroën C4 1.6HDi VTR+ saloon

Stand 16
The family-size, five seat, fully-equipped C4 1.6HDi 110hp car achieves its very low, 120g/km CO2 emissions rating thanks to the benefits of the fuel efficient, low emissions performance of its diesel engine, which is complemented by the emissions reducing characteristics of EGS.
EGS is a smooth, hi-tech six-speed electronic gearbox system, which combines the convenience of an automatic with the driver involvement of a manual. This easy-to-use system does away with the need for a clutch pedal, using electro-hydraulic actuators to ensure gentle and smooth gearshifts. With EGS the driver can choose between changing gear manually using steering column mounted paddle-shifters or drive in full automatic mode.
Thanks to EGS automated gearchanges and clutch control, this advanced electronic gearbox system boasts impressive green credentials, being less polluting and up to 5% more economical than a conventional manual gearbox.
