The European 'Move About' electric car sharing scheme has just signed up its 1000th member.

Membership of liftshare.com, the UK’s largest car sharing network, has recently passed the 200,000 mark – saving 13,500 tonnes of CO2. More than 4,500,000 trees would have to be planted to achieve the same impact on CO2 levels.
