Toyota will have two particularly significant green cars at the Geneva Show, in the form of the production version of the Prius Plug-in Hybrid, and the world premiere of the showroom-ready Auris HSD (Hybrid Synergy Drive).

    Hyundai Blue Drive

Hyundai will exhibit a range of cars from its Blue Drive ‘eco-initiative’ at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Following a thorough consultation with the UK motor industry, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) has taken the decision to cancel the 2010 British International Motor Show.

First shown as a concept car at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, the Toyota iQ is appearing for the first time as a market-ready design at the Geneva Motor Show. The cool-looking iQ measures less than three metres long, and it can carry three people plus a child or luggage (we assume the child doesn’t go in the boot with the luggage). Production will start towards the end of this year.

    Subaru Goes Green at Geneva

It’s taken a long time coming, but Geneva will be Subaru’s most environmentally-friendly Motor Show ever.
A concept car showcasing the outlook and future direction of BMW’s EfficientDynamics programme will be the highlight of the BMW stand at the Geneva Motorshow. Few other details about this car have yet been revealed, but we do know that there will also be the world debut of the new BMW 320d Convertible.
