    Volvo's Sustainability Focus

    Volvo has published its Corporate and Sustainability Report for 2009/2010 which the company says shows its commitment to sustainability.
    Average European new car CO2 emissions are falling at a faster rate than ever before and are on course to meet 2015 EU targets, according to provider of automotive intelligence, JATO Dynamics.
    Average CO2 emissions of a car bought through the Scrappage Incentive Scheme by the end of April 2010 were 132.9 g/km, over 27% below the scrapped car's figure and 9.5% below the overall new car market average.

    Ford's Green Investment

    Ford is aiming to invest up to £1.5 billion in new, affordable, volume-produced low CO2 technologies at its four UK facilities over the next five years after securing a £360 million Government loan guarantee.
