    It’s that time of year again, and for 2008 our Greenest Manufacturer of the Year Award goes to a car maker that in the last year has made a real difference in bringing low emission cars to the mainstream market.
    The Vauxhall Insignia has won the 2009 European Car of the Year award. However with 321 votes it beat the Ford Fiesta by just one point.
    The revolutionary Toyota iQ, the world’s smallest four-seater passenger car, has won the 2008 Japan Car of the Year award by a large margin over rivals.
    Saab’s environmental credentials have been rewarded at the 2007 Fleet World Honours. The trophy was presented at a special ceremony held at the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall on Thursday 17th May.
    The Toyota Prius is the top-ranked individual model – together with the Lexus IS - in the 2007 J.D. Power and Associates customer satisfaction study.

    ETA Green Car Awards

    The Honda Civic Hybrid won the top award for the second year running at the Environmental Transport Association (ETA) 2007 Car Buyers’ Guide Awards, winning the overall award as well as the award in its own Small Family Car category.
