The Citroën DS3 is here, with the DStyle 99g emitting just 99g/km CO2 emissions with fuel economy of 74.3mpg.

Alfa Romeo has not made many appearances on Green-Car-Guide, but, just like buses, hot on the heels of the new MultiAir petrol engine for the Alfa Mito comes news of the MultiJet II diesel, capable of 65.7mpg and emissions of 112g/km CO2.

The new BMW 5 Series Saloon is here now, so next it's the turn of the Touring model which will be here in September, and the 520d version returns 54.3mpg with CO2 emissions of 137g/km.

The Alfa Romeo MiTo is now available in the UK with the new Euro 5-ready 1.4-litre MultiAir turbocharged engine which, in Cloverleaf spec, combines 170bhp, a 0-62mph time of 7.5 seconds, a combined fuel consumption of 47.1 mpg and emissions of 139g/km CO2.

One of the many new hybrid vehicles on display at Geneva is the Infiniti M35 Hybrid, which is in fact the world premiere of Infiniti's first production hybrid.

The new Toyota Auris HSD (Hybrid Synergy Drive) will have two versions, one delivering 89g/km emissions and 74.3mpg combined fuel economy, and the second emitting 93g/km CO2 with 70.6mpg combined fuel economy.

The Lexus CT 200h is a new premium compact full hybrid which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show prior to a worldwide sales launch in late 2010.

The new Volkswagen Polo BlueMotion is now available to order in the UK with emissions of 91 g/km of CO2 and 80.7 mpg combined.

Lotus isn't a company that features regularly on Green-Car-Guide, however as our focus is on the best in class green cars, the new Elise, with 155 g/km CO2 and 46 mpg, certainly deserves a mention.

Toyota will have two particularly significant green cars at the Geneva Show, in the form of the production version of the Prius Plug-in Hybrid, and the world premiere of the showroom-ready Auris HSD (Hybrid Synergy Drive).
