A1GP World Cup of Motorsport has unveiled a series of initiatives to help reduce its environmental footprint. Measures include switching to biofuel (30% ethanol mix), waste reduction measures, carbon-offsetting unavoidable emissions and promoting environmental awareness to a global audience spanning 150 countries.

The MoT testing station had to check their equipment when a rally car turned up and their emissions testing equipment couldn’t register any emissions at all. But this was no ordinary rally car – this was the Oaktec Honda Insight.

Biofuel cars gain two second place podiums, eight top ten finishes, driver Turkington third in championship, and O’Neill’s biofuel Astra leads the race.
