Stand 05With the 1 Series you get a front engined, rear-wheel-drive chassis and BMW’s latest engine know-how is combined with EfficientDynamics technology. This means that the car has features such as stop-start, engine ancilliaries that disconnect when not required, and improved aerodynamics.
The result is a 2 litre diesel engine producing a healthy 143 bhp which can propel the 1 Series to 62 mph in under 9 seconds whilst also being able to return over 62mpg, which equates to just 119 g/km of CO2.
